Week 15

Day 1
TLW review the definition of polygons, and identify triangle, quadrilateral, pentagon, hexagon, and octagon.
TLW compare 2D and 3D shapes.
TLW identify 3D shapes and list their faces, edges, and vertices.

1. TTW only use the part on polygons this day.
2. Identify polygons worksheet 1 http://www.ezschool.com/EZSheets/Geometry/Polygons/sheet5.html Answers

Day 2

1. Review polygons with flip chart above.
2.TTW put 3D shapes in a bag. Kids will reach in and give characteristics orally to class to help them identify the shapes.
3. Identify 3d shapes with second half of flip chart. above.
4. Matching game of shapes and definitions.
